Candidates will be required to use a range of technology such as web cams and video cameras in order to build up their confidence and fluency while using BSL. Suitable for: Candidates how have achieved their NVQ3 in BSL training qualification and require further language development before continuing onto the Level 6 NVQ Certificate in BSL

Sylvia is an experienced tutor in all levels of BSL. She has recently acheived her NVQ4 in BSL Qualification and is currently undertaking her A1 training programme. Since April 2010 she has been in the position of Head of Training at Sign Solutions.

Course programme

Course review:

The course will be delivered using a practical method covering a range of topics to help candidates develop their skills. Candidates will be required to use a range of technology such as web cams and video cameras in order to build up their confidence and fluency while using BSL.

Candidates will be given the opportunity to study the features of BSL in detail, which they can then use themselves to produce signing that follows the full BSL structure.

The tutor (a Native Deaf BSL user) will use methods such as: conversation, discussion, group and pair work, PowerPoint’s, role plays and video interaction.

The programme will be delivered at our premises in Alvechurch, South Birmingham and will commence in September 2013 (a full list of dates will be provided).
