Course Description:
The qualification recognises the skills and competencies
required in the workplace. Suitable for most types of
organisation within the health and social care sector.

Description Breakdown:
The NVQs take six to nine months to complete.
Assessment includes observation, oral and written
questioning, witness testimony and portfolio-based
evidence.
These NVQs are the benchmark qualification, written into
National Standards in Social Care and forming the basis
for workforce development and the Agenda for Change
in the NHS. At each level, employees will complete
mandatory units, plus a choice of optional units which
allow them to customise their qualification for their job
role.
