Housing NVQ Level 4

The learner will possess:

• In-depth knowledge of their occupation
• The ability to deal with high level information

Job roles must include managerial skills, with a demonstration of competence in planning and business awareness.

Candidates must achieve 9 units - 6 mandatory and 3 optional.

Mandatory units:

• Develop and maintain open and honest relationships with interested parties
• Obtain and provide information relating to housing
• Manage activities to meet requirements
• Manage the use of financial resources
• Develop your own resources
• Lead the work of teams and individuals to achieve their objectives

Qualification details

To gain the qualification candidates must demonstrate that they are competent at their job. There is no pass or fail. If the candidate does not reach a suitable level of competence to achieve the qualification, then further training will be identified to ensure that they can demonstrate competency.

The candidate will be supported by an assessor and assessed in the work place. They must be directly observed by their assessor. Evidence collection methods can also include witness statements, case studies, professional discussions and questioning.
