About this course

Successful completion of this beginner preparation course does not guarantee that learners will pass the SELT/ESOL test (if they are to attend one). However, they will gain a valuable insight of the test's structure, content, assessment and most importantly the expected standard of fluency for this level of study. Throughout the course learners will have opportunities to practice tasks similar to those in the test(s) and most importantly will benefit from individual tutor feedback on their performance, receiving advice about how to improve their academic skills.

Learners must:
1. have access to a PC and a reliable internet connection.
2. should be IT literate, i.e. access, browse and navigate through the learning platform, create, edit and play/download audios/videos, use email and skype etc.
3. be 18+ years of age.
4. commit to a learning/assessment schedule in order to complete the course successfully. Estimated study time per week is around 8 hours, including tests and tutorials. Note that this is only an estimation, the actual study time will depend on the individual.
5. be A1 Users/CEFR
