At the end of each subject, the student will have to take the OnLine assessment tests and a final theoretical and practical exam of the 2nd year in Rome (ITALY). The Tutor Online is available within the platform for each student.

About this course

The objective of the course is to train Veterinary Technicians capable of understanding the indications of the Veterinary Physician, with the achievement of objectives both in theory and in practice. By means of a theoretical part, the course prepares the student for an understanding of the ethical, scientific and procedural principles of the assigned tasks; with the practical path, through the 800 hours of the traineeship, the student is placed in an "organizational" and operational situation, aimed at training in the specific tasks. Upon passing the theoretical/practical exam, the certification of skills for Veterinary Technician is obtained.

The course is aimed at all those who are in possession of the secondary school diploma of 1st level,
the 2nd grade secondary school diploma (equivalent of high school diploma) is considered preferential

PASSING THE THEORETICAL / PRACTICAL EXAM OF THE 2ND YEAR CARRIED OUT IN ROME(ITALY), THE CERTIFICATION OF CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN SKILLS IS ISSUED

The course is the only one in Italy to be accredited at European level by ACOVENE, it is recognized by ANMVI - National Association of Italian Veterinary Doctors. It is also certified by CEPAS Bureau Veritas according to ISO / IEC 17024 and is in line with what is reported in the Reference Practice for veterinary technicians UNI 45/2018.

Course programme

The two-year online course is divided into various packages of subjects, after which you can access the exam for the 1st and 2nd year. There is a minimum learning time to acquire the content of each study module. students cannot access the final test before the minimum learning time has expired. To proceed with the payment of the following modules it is necessary to have carried out the final tests of the previous subjects.

The subjects covered in the teaching path are the following:

for the 1st Year subjects such as: Chemistry; Biology; Zoology; Anatomy and physiology; Zootechnics; Zoognostics; Legislation and Deontology; Secretarial Procedures; Exotic Animals; Nursing Procedures; hippology; Unconventional medicines.

For the 2nd year the course continues with: General pathology; Medical Pathology for Small Animals; Infectious and Parasitic Diseases of Domestic Animals; Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy; Nursing procedures; Feeding Small Animals; Techniques for breeding and feeding income animals; Legislation of Wildlife Recovery Centers. 400 hours / year of internship are foresee
