Opthalmics: Access

Course Description
Designed to enable adults with no formal qualifications (and in particular those who have been away from education for a period of time) to prepare in one year for entry into a Degree course to qualify as opthalmic dispensers or optometrist. Successful students are GUARANTEED a place on a higher education course.

Preferred Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements and admission is by informal interview. Applicants are expected to have a strong interest in physics and mathematics.
