To teach the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators of Overhead Radio Operated Cranes. To provide specific job training in both related job safety knowledge and practical skill applications for this type appliance. At the course end successful delegates should be able to operate their machines both safely and efficiently.

Learn how to safely and efficiently operate a radio controlled or pendant operated overhead crane.
On completion of the course you will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers principal components and terminology, operating procedures, signalling, daily checks, lifting, travelling, emergency procedures and much more.
As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.
Please note this course is applicable to pendant, radio and infra red controlled overhead cranes (including monorail type appliances)

1 x day depending upon delegates’ previous experience and machine type - normally 4 x delegates per course
