Participants will: Identify the causes of paediatric cardiorespiratory arrest. Identify signs and symptoms of paediatric cardiorespiratory arrest. Demonstrate skills competently during simulation in basic life support of an infant and child. Demonstrate correct techniques for managing infant or child. Suitable for: All clinical / non-staff who come into contact with infants and children.

Course programme
This course is designed to be delivered within organisations with responsibility for caring for children. The programme last for 3 hours and is open to all staff and includes:
- Early recognition of the sick child
- Basic Life support - infant and child
- Recognition and management of choking
- Scenario based assessment
The training is delivered by European Paediatric Life Support (EPLS) Instructors to ensure the highest quality, onsite at your facility and bespoke to your needs.
