Paediatric First Aid for Children and Infants

This Course is recommended by and meets the requirements of SureStart and Ofsted for anyone working within the Child Care industry. The Course is a 2 Day 12 Hour Paediatric Child Care Course and has Instructor Supervised practices with DVD and Power Point Presentations. This Program teaches the appropriate CPR and First Aid Skills for the care of Infants and Children. This Course is taught at our Training Centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and on Site throughout Cambridgeshire, East Anglia.

This 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course is Ideal for Childminders, Nannies, Mothers and people who work in Child Care. This course is ideal for Schools, Nurseries, Mother and Toddler Groups, Crèches and it is also known as Childcare Early Years Settings. Our Onsite First Aid Training is conducted around Suffolk, Cambridge including Ipswich, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Felixstowe, Lowestoft, Newmarket, Ely, Woodbridge, Thetford, East Anglia Areas. Essential Adult care skills are also demonstrated where they differ from those appropriate for child care First Aid and Infant first Aid. You can be sure of a good all round First Aid Knowledge, with the emphasis on Infants and Children. We have Baby size Mannequins so that you are able to practice CPR and how to manage a choking situation on a small baby.

We Offer a Discounts on this course for group bookings and we run regular courses at weekends. The course can be split if you wish over a few evenings, but this is available to groups only.

Group Discounts

If you have a nursery or have a group who need to complete this course, we can arrange for a Trainer to come to you, or if you prefer your group can be trained at our premises in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, or at our other centre's in Essex, Norfolk, East Anglia.

We do offer group discounts, but these will be subject to numbers. We do offer onsite training for this 12 Hour Paediatric Course around Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and we need a minimum of 6 - 8 persons. We can train upto 24 candidates per course, but this woudl require two instructors.

The course will include video segments with hands on practice in groups of three, with plenty of opportunity to work as a rescuer.

You will learn how to protect yourself as a rescuer as well as the people you may care for in an emergency. You will be given up to date medical information presented in a relaxed low stress learning environment and you will receive a certificate and plastic wallet size card upon successful completion of the course.
