What are the entry requirements?
You will need to have achieved Diploma Level 2 or the equivalent.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is both practical and theoretical and includes short tests, subject assignments and the completion of work-based evidence books. Students also meet regularly with tutors to help plan studies and to discuss progress.
This can lead to employment in:
- Local authority maintenance teams
- Construction companies
- Self employment
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances, you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out when you apply.
