Subjects include: Know how to apply paint systems by brush and roller Know how to apply hangings to walls and ceilings Know how to and produce specialist decorative finishes Know how to carry out specialist architectural feature work Know how to and apply water-borne paint systems using airless equipment Know how to prepare surfaces for decoration Know how to and carry out safe working practices in Construction Knowledge of and use of information, quantities and communication with others Knowledge of and use of building methods and Construction technology Know how to erect and dismantle access equipment and working platforms Functional Skills in English and Maths English and Maths are an essential part of your studies and will help you succeed on your course. These subjects will help you develop confidence and are the key employability skills that all employers now look for when recruiting. Functional Skills or GCSEs will be studied as part of the learning programme and therefore, additional hours will need to be added on to cover for these.Enterprise Skills Our full-time courses are designed to help you achieve your ambitions whether your goal is to go on to a higher level of study or whether you are looking to start a job.
