You will require a grade C or above in AS English Language & Literature. Please note that AS/A level may be studied simultaneously.

What will I study?
Unit 4: Drama pre-1770: 1 question (in 2 parts) based on the study of chosen text (open text). Unit 5: The Language of Literature and Speech: 2 questions, one from each section (closed text). Unit 6: Comparative Analysis of Texts with Writing Task: 2 questions.
How will I be assessed?
You will take three examinations based on two texts, plus the AS modules. Please note that texts will vary across sites.
