Entry requirements
You will need to have successful completed the AAT Intermediate course or have a relevant qualification.

What will I study?
You will study: Contributing to the Management of Performance & the Enhancement of Value; Contributing to the Planning & Control of Resources; Managing Systems & People in the Accounting Environment; Contribute to the Maintenance of a Healthy, Safe & Productive Working Environment; Operating a Cash Management & Credit Control System; Implementing Auditing Procedures and Drafting Financial Statements (accounting practice, industry and commerce).

How will I be assessed?
There are two types of assessments: Examinations - There are two examinations set and marked by the AAT. Skills tests - These are course assessments which can include evidence from your workplace, voluntary activities you are involved in or simulations based on real work activities.

Career Opportunities & Progression
Some students stop at this level others carry on their studies. On completion of the Technician level, every UK chartered accountancy body will grant you exemptions from the first level of their professional qualifications.
