The Programme
This course is for people who wish to enter the electrical installation, contracting or associated industries via a work placement.
The programme covers electrical installation theory and regulations, as well as a wide range of practical skills associated with electrical work, together with the associated theory and science.
The Programme Content
A complete Advanced Modern Apprenticeship qualification is made up of the following elements.
C&G 2330 Level 2 Electro Technical Certificate
C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro Technical Certificate
NVQ3 Portfolio in Electrical Installation (This a work based record of evidence of competence at work and on site observations by our assessor)
AM2 Test ( this is an external 3 day competence test based on installing, testing and fault finding an electrical installation)
Progression / Careers
On successful completion of your Advanced Apprenticeship you will be a qualified Electrician working in the industry.
Additional course can then be taken such as C&G 2382-10 17th Edition , C&G 2392-10 Inspection and Testing and C&G 2377-12 Pat Testing to further develop your professional qualifications.
You can also branch out into other specialist areas such as design, Programme Logic Control systems, Refrigeration and course in Electrical/Electronic engineering working at ONC or HNC Level.
