What will I study?
You will have to study four mandatory units: Working safely in a boat building/repair environment Contributing to developing and maintaining working relationships Contributing to the effectiveness of boat production and support services One other unit to be confirmed as well as three optional modules that can include: Repairing FRP boats and components Manufacturing sub-assemblies for boats Installing sub-assemblies in boats Assembling/installing FRP components on boats

Will I have to sit any examinations?
The course is based on continuous assessment of your practical work and assignments.

What will I have at the end of the course?
On successful completion of the course, you will gain a NVQ Level 3 in Boat Building and Maintenance.

What next?
You should be able to progress to Level 4 courses which correspond to HND/HNC level.
