The course offers OCN qualifications in: Art basic colour mixing; Colour Theory, Application & Composition; Art - Still life painting and Art & Design an introduction to Landscape.

Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

What will I study?
You will study the basics of watercolour and drawing techniques, which include basic colour mixing, still life painting and drawing, basic colour theory and a introduction in painting landscapes in watercolour.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by your tutor on your work on an ongoing basis. There will be no examinations, just continual support and guidance. You will need to produce a portfolio of your work which will be externally assessed and when satisfactory will be accredited with an OCN qualification.

Career Opportunities & Progression
On successful completion of this course you could progress to Level 2 OCN (Route B)
