There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

What will I study?
You will study a wide range of web design elements including: Theory of Website design; How to use a basic web editor (e.g. Notepad); Learning basic imaging techniques (with Photoshop); Building web page elements to create a simple website; Able to use and create tables and forms; Create hyperlinks, internally and externally; Create image links/buttons etc.; Insert images on a page; Page formatting tags; Learn how to link pages together; Use File management and organising of web site pages.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by your tutor on your work on an ongoing basis. There will be no examinations, just continual support and guidance. You will need to produce a portfolio of your work which will be externally assessed and when satisfactory will be accredited with an OCN qualification.

Career Opportunities & Progression
On successful completion of this course you could progress to Level 2 subjects relating to Web design (Route H).
