Who is this course for?

The Certificate in Playwork enables the candidate to develop confidence and competence working with children and young people aged 4-16. They provide understanding of play and playwork. The knowledge and skills that you learn are applicable to the role of Assistant Playworker in settings such as daycare nurseries, summer playschemes , sports or soft play centres staff, junior clubs, after school clubs.

The Certificate in Playwork is a training opportunity for anyone working with school age children in a variety of settings including. It is recommended that students have at least 50 hours of recent experience working with school age children in their leisure time.
