This 1-year part-time course provides a general overview of all the issues relating to work in any care setting. It is aimed at adults who have an interest in working in the sector but who may have little experience. The course also underpins the knowledge base for the NVQ Level 2 in Care.

Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for the award, although an interest in working in the care sector is essential. As there is an expectation that you will undertake some voluntary work to support the award, you must have a police check.
