What will I study?
The following modules are taken from the Introductory Certificate in Team Leading and will need to be completed in addition to the standard modules if you do not have the Introductory Certificate. The role of the team leader Planning & Organising the Team's Work; Identifying and Reducing Risks to Health & Safety; Dealing with Change; Motivating the Team and Effective Communication. Other modules you will study include: Developing Yourself; Dealing with Problems; Using Resources Effectively; Maintaining Discipline; Self Managed Teams; Leading the Team Lawfully; Dealing with Conflict and Briefing the Team.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through the completion of a personal development record for each of the modules, completion of a knowledge assessment test (20 short answer questions), a course assignment and a five minute presentation.
