The Course
This course is for learners who have never done Chinese brush painting as well as for those wishing to update their skills.
Course Content
We will be painting the Four Gentlemen i.e. Bamboo; Orchids; Chrysanthemums and Plum Blossom.
What you will achieve
By the end of the course the student will be able to hold a brush correctly; work on Chinese paper in ink and colour and be aware of the initial catalogue of strokes necessary for executing this art form.
Progression/Career Path
The student could join a more advanced Chinese Brush group.
What you need to bring
Students need to bring 2 water containers, 2 white plates, a kitchen roll, a piece of old blanket or felt about a meter sq and any Chinese brushes and equipment they have.
Other Costs
Paper, ink and brushes will all need to be bought from the tutor if the learner has not got them.
