Previous knowledge for the Level 2 ? 2D CAD, though advantageous, is not necessary as we start at a relatively basic level. It is however assumed that candidates will be familiar with elementary drawing terms and conventions. Learners for the Level 3? 2D CAD should have successfully completed the Level 2 programme or be able to demonstrate competence at an equivalent level/qualification. What will I study?
The course will lead to City & Guilds Awards at the appropriate level. The software used will be AutoCAD software running on compatible PC?s with all necessary ancillary equipment to produce and print AutoCAD drawings.
How will I be assessed?
The assessment for this programme will take the form of a number of practical assignments designed to meet the criteria of the course. The underpinning knowledge and understanding will be assessed by a short multiple choice question paper.
