Content The Foundation Degree (FD) is an exciting enterprise that sees TCAT working in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton. The course lasts for 3 years and will see you develop your IT knowledge in a number of different ways. There is a strong work based element to the FD, your employer may well be supporting your studies - indeed, nationally the FD programme was started by employers working with Universities to ensure that students graduate with the right skills. The course is organised into core, mandatory and optional modules and includes subject specific topics such as Programming Concepts, Systems Analysis, Employability Skills, Project Management and Networking amongst others. A substantial live project forms much of the final semesters.
