WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
You will be on a course that provides an opportunity to study an interesting and rewarding subject, and to gain a qualification which is essential for many careers.
WHAT WILL I STUDY?
You will study 1 or 2 subjects from the following choices:
ENGLISH LANGUAGE
This interesting syllabus includes the preparation of essays in four topics:
original writing, media studies, a novel and a short study of a play from Shakespeare.
You will also consider poetry and different kinds of writing for examinations.
MATHEMATICS

Number & Algebra
Algebra, Shape, Space & Measures
PSYCHOLOGY
Behaviourist Approach
Memory and Stress

WHAT ARE MY COMMITMENTS?
Each subject consists of two 2.15 hour sessions spread throughout the week totalling 4.5 hours per subject.
In addition you will need to spend 2 hours per week on coursework at home or in college.
WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE?
On successful completion you will achieve a GCSE in your chosen subject(s).
