About this course
Applicants should typically have: Completed a BTEC National Diploma in a design-based subject, the BTEC Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art & Design, an Access to HE programme, or a similar level 3 qualification such as A-Level or AVCE in Art & Design Mature applicants (those over 21 years of age at the start of the course) are welcomed and should have relevant experience with a suitable portfolio of creative work .

Course Content:
The course has been designed to give equal emphasis to both traditional and computer-based practice, with the aim of preparing you for a range of career opportunities in the design industry.

Entry Process:
All applicants will be invited to an interview with the tutor, allowing you to find out more and check that the course is the best option for you. Interviews normally take place between January and September of the year in which the course starts.
Assessment:
Assessment is continuous over a range of tasks/assignments in each unit.

Progression to graphic design degree courses.
Career Options:
Self-employment and careers in graphic design generally and specifically with advertising agencies, design companies and printers.
