Health & Social Care NVQ 4 NVQ
The course is for those working in a responsible role within residential or day services in Health and Social Care. It is appropriate for those who already have NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care and who are seeking recognition for their professional development and competence. The College welcomes enquiries regarding individually tailored programmes of training.

Course Content:
There are four mandatory units within this course:
  • HSC 41
    • : Use and develop methods and systems in order to communicate, record and report.
  • HSC 42
    • : Contribute to the development and maintenance of healthy and safe practices in the working environment.
  • HCS43
    • : Take responsibility for the continuing professional development of self and others.
  • HSC 45
    • : Develop practices which promote choice, well being and protection of all individuals. Four other modules are then chosen, these can be viewed on the edexcel.org.uk website.

    Edexcel.

    Work Experience / Practical Experience:
    Learners will be observed in the workplace.
