About this course

Candidates will be invited to submit a piece of written work (200 words approx.) to assist in identifying communication skills. Successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure Scotland report as the programme includes a practical work placement element. To join this course it would be useful for candidates to have achieved the Int2 or NC in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). English Higher or Communication 4 (especially for those planning to undertake a social work degree). Care experience is a distinct advantage.
