This is the course for you if you are already familiar with some aspects of the Microsoft Office 2003 software packages and want to further develop your skills in this area to progress to a more advanced level course or gain an advantage in employment opportunities within the Computing and IT industry. The course consists of practical based individual and group activities.

The course consists of IT Principles 2, Designing and Creating Databases, Designing and Creating Presentations and Combining Applications to Present Information.

Units are assessed through practical activities and integrated assignments. There is an end of course on-line exam.

Further Study/Employment
Successful completion will enable you to seek employment within the computing and IT industry, or as part of a progression route onto a full (or part)-time Higher National programme.
