The course is suitable for students who wish to develop their art skills. It is essential that you have studied GCSE Art or Photography at Level 2 and obtained a grade A to C or equivalent. It will also help if you can bring a portfolio of your art/photography when you enroll.

Sketchbook work and supporting study will be a combination of written analysis on student work and the work of other photographers, research and developmental pieces.

Completion of on-line applications are not necessary. Due to the nature of the activity, informal one to one guidance is preferred to ensure correct entry onto courses. Therefore, please contact the Art and Design office directly. Students will be asked to provide basic materials but some specialist materials will be supplied. Advice on material costs will be provided at application.
Progression:
A2 Level Photography, OCN Access Diploma (Art and Design), EDEXCEL (BTEC) Foundation Diploma in Art and Design or other art and design related areas subject to entry requirements.
