This BTEC Level 3 National Certificate is designed to equip individuals with the practical skills, knowledge and understanding required for success in current employment and for progression to future employment in a range of electrical and electronic occupations including design, installation, operation and maintenance of complex electrical/electronic engineering products and systems.
About this course
Normally 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and Science. This can be waived for mature students who can demonstrate the necessary commitment and ability.

Method of Assessment
All twelve units are internally assessed via tests, assignment and practical activities. The project and the communication unit are combined to form an integrated vocational assignment (IVA).
