NATIONAL EXAMINING BOARD FOR DENTAL NURSES: NATIONAL CERTIFICATE

Who is this course for?

If you are employed in a dental surgery or clinic as a dental nurse, you are now required to be registered with the General Dental Council. You must hold or be studying for an approved qualification. The National Certificate is one of the main recognised qualifications in the UK.

  • duties and role of the Dental Nurse

You will be required to complete written, oral, 'spotter' tests and practical assignments. There is a final external examination in May. The course also requires you to complete a Record of Experience which must be submitted prior to the examination.
