Course Details

This qualification is intended for the senior manager who: Have operational responsibility for substantial programmes and resources Have a broad span of control Are responsible for identifying and implementing change and quality improvements Negotiate budgets and contracts Lead high level meetings

Qualifications required:
Participants will normally be either practising or aspiring senior managers. Although no previous formal qualifications are required to embark on the S/NVQ, participants will need to demonstrate substantial management experience. There are no formal educational requirements but learners should have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.

1 hour per session up to a maximum of 15 sessions

Progression:
Upon successful completion of the Level 5 S/NVQ in Management, the following progression options become available:
Enhance your professional status by becoming a Member (MCMI) of the Institute
Start working towards Chartered Manager status
Progress onto a masters, MBA or postgraduate programme at university. Although S/NVQs are not credit rated like the Institute's certificates and diplomas, exemptions may be given through Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL).
