The NVQ is intended to be the work based part of the training for the electrical installation apprenticeship programme. Whilst evidence generated in the work place is required for the completion of the NVQ, guidance and NVQ development is part of the electrical installation level 2 training at the college. The NVQ runs parallel to the City & Guilds 2330 Electrotechnical Technology.
