The Course
Health and Social Care course
This NVQ is for those wishing to gain a nationally recognised qualification which could offer progression onto Level 4. The half day course will provide the underpinning knowledge and understanding for this award. This course is offered by distance learning only for single learners or workshop method for more than 10 employees at a time. The competence of the candidate will be assessed through direct observation in the workplace and a portfolio of evidence. Children and Young People course
This NVQ runs alongside the Health and Social Care qualification but for those who care for children 8-18 years. It is for carers who wish to gain a nationally recognised qualification which could offer progression onto nurse training or Level 4. The half day course will provide the underpinning knowledge and understanding for this award. The competence of the candidate will be assessed through direct observation in the workplace and a portfolio of evidence.
