  • Do you need to know how to navigate your way around the printing menu options to produce a photo quality print

After discovering and experimenting with your camera controls and ensuring that you can photograph safely and responsibly, you will produce a portfolio of at least 12 final images within ONE of the following topics: 1. My favourite place 2. Faces 3. A day out 4. A public or family event Students are encouraged to help and support each other and one of the most beneficial aspects is receiving constructive feedback on your images and identifying ways of making improvements. It doesnt matter whether you are 16 or 80+ if you can learn in a group environment as well as self study and spend time practicing photography, then this could be your opportunity to step-up your photography to a new level. You will need to have your own digital camera, although it can be a basic compact model. DSLR cameras offer a wider range of opportunities. Both types are suitable to complete the course.
