Course Information:
This course is a practical, hands-on course that provides useful background knowledge and understanding of some of the basic concepts of Information Technology for home and business use. The course includes the Internet (effective use of search engines & e-mail), working with digital images and cameras (including image editing), multimedia, (use of video and sound files), computer operating procedures using Windows. Other topics include introduction to word-processing, spreadsheet database and desktop publishing applications.

Further Study:
Full-time or other part-time courses in Computing, IT and Multimedia.
