• Contra-indications and actions to pedicure treatments.
• Consultation and techniques.
• Nail types and conditions and how to recognise them and record the information correctly.
• How to select appropriate products for your clients nail type / condition.
• Anatomy & physiology relating to the nail, leg & foot
• After care advice.
• Set up and preparation of work area, products & equipment.
• Positioning of client and how to instruct client to prepare for her treatment.

• Demonstration of pedicure treatment.
• Student practical session of pedicure treatment in a real working environment. During this part of the course specific one to one tuition will be given.
• How to close the treatment / sale and re-book your client
• Brief guidance on marketing a pedicure treatment.
• Other courses available, personal careers advice given.
