Course Description
Throughout the course you will need to be highly self-motivated. This course is designed to give you all the practical and theory aspects of Beauty Therapy. All students must be prepared to work on clients throughout the course in an open salon.The theory aspects of the course will require you to research and complete asssignments along with learner checks which should be word processed throughout. Key Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and IT are compulsory and are essential aspects of this course.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs Grade D, incl. English. (Maths D for some courses). Or Pass in Level 1 Vocational Qual., Merit for BTECs, plus Key Skills Level 1 Comm. (App. of Number for some courses) or equivalent. Diplomas require Functional Skills in ICT, Maths and English.

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: You will be assessed continually throughout the course through observation of practical skills, written tests, oral questions, projects and assignments, along with the production of two portfolios of evidence (Training and Working portfolio).

Progression Routes: Aromatherapist, Beauty Therapist, Massage Therapist, Reflexologist, Product Demonstrator, Sales Representative, Spa Therapist, Make-up Artist, Nail Technician.
