To be able to demonstrate both theoretically and practically the use of pendant operation and slinging methods to move loads. Explain and demonstrate range of movement of Pendant Cranes. Planning of method to be used in moving load. Safe loading rules (weight, height, clearance etc). Coded Workshop Practice when using Pendant Crane including the use of hand signals. Safety of others in Workshop Area. Team Working. Practical slinging and operating exercises including the correct use of angles#. Pre operational checks
