The aim of the course is to provide candidates with knowledge, understanding and requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1992.
Course Objectives
The definition of PPE is:
“anything that can be held or worn by an individual to protect against a single or a number of dangers in the workplace”.
This course is designed to allow delegates to gain a greater understanding of relevant legislation, as well as suitability of personl protective equipment. Also delegates will appreciate that PPE is a very important element in the control of workplace hazards and the hierarchy of controls will be discussed
