It is desirable that you also have an A level in mathematics or a related subject at grade C or above, and/or significant related, education based work experience.You may be asked to complete the primary mathematics subject knowledge enhancement course to ensure your understanding of mathematics in the primary curriculum is completely secure before you start the course.A commitment to becoming the best teacher you can be, with a minimum of 10 days experience in a UK primary school. If you cannot spend the full 10 days in a primary school prior to application we can still consider your application as long as you have spent 5 days in a primary classroom.
