Course programme
At the PhD level you will be expected to make an original contribution to knowledge. Most students enrol first for the MPhil and transfer to the PhD when their work has sufficiently developed. However, it is possible to enrol directly onto the PhD course if you are appropriately qualified.
You will have a supervisory team made up of a Director of Studies with expertise in your chosen field, a further supervisor and, where appropriate, an additional adviser.
You will be able to access all the general support facilities on offer at the University.
