2. Course description During these fun, practical and hands-on sessions, you will learn how to use a number of settings on your camera, including the manual setting, which is by far the best way to begin your journey into the world of photography. All of this you will learn in a supportive, relaxed and friendly class, where no question asked is too silly. With your tutor you will explore different ways of taking photographs and how to understand your own camera settings through a series of practical sessions By the end of the course you will feel confident changing the settings on your camera to create images you want, rather than the ones achieved using the auto setting. All the lessons are designed for you to learn through various practical exercises. By the end of the course you will have learned many skills, including that of understanding how to manipulate "depth of field," by using the settings on your camera to create the image you want. You will have an understanding of ISO speed, how to choose your shutter speeds, and set the aperture to be creative. Put all this into practice and you will discover how exciting it is taking that "special photo".So if you want to enjoy your camera and take photos you want to take, rather than ones that the camera takes for you on an automatic setting, and if you prefer to learn through doing rather than reading the manual this is the right class for you.
