Every student learns at a different pace and though the majority of students leave a Pierce Artist course with most of the techniques in hand, there may be still some areas that some students are a little unsure of and may require some additional practice prior to performing the procedure on a paying customer. Observation Training Days are designed to deal with this situation. Suitable for: Past students of Pierce Artist.

Course programme

Observation Days are optional learning modules and are designed to suit individual students, specific learning needs. Observation Days are usually taken directly after the completion of a course, but can be taken by appointment at any time after course completion. Many of our past students come back on a monthly basis to discuss any piercing issues they may be having, or to make sure that their technique is maturing in the correct way. Students that come from further afield are advised to block at least one Observation Training Day directly after their course.

During the Observation Training Days students will spend time in the Pierce Artist Studio, training as a junior piercer, gaining that valuable experience and also acquiring an insight into the day to day running of a successful working salon. We will spend the morning session working on the technique related the students areas of concern and in the afternoon we bring a series of models in to the studio to put the theoretical information into practice. The observation days are an ideal method of homing the skills acquired on the 4 Day Professional and Advanced Surface courses. Accommodation is available.

*All Pierce Artist training modules utilise blade, rather than canular needle piercing. Blade needle piercing is more prominent in the USA and is widely accepted as a method of piercing that invokes faster healing times, less infections and much less discomfort to the person being pierced. Though the majority of UK body piercers use canular methods, our 10 years of experience have shown the benefits of blade needle piercing to be substantial.
