Description:
Level 1: This course is ideal if you are interested in the computerised side of bookkeeping. Course involves using the Sage software package to process routine accounting tasks. There are no formal entry requirements and you can continue to Level 2.

Level 2: This course is suitable if you have completed the level 1 qualification or if you have some experience of computerised accounts. The course involves the processing of routine accounting tasks, plus interpretation and verification from source documents. On completion you can continue to Level 3.

Level 3: This course is suitable if you have proven competence at level 2 (or equivalent) plus a solid understanding of manual bookkeeping accounting principles. You will develop the ability to set up and operate a computerised accounts software package, to process and interpret routine & non routine transactions and to produce the profit & loss account and balance sheet.

Mode of attendance:
Level 1: 1 evening per week for approx 10 weeks or part-time day 2 hours per week for 10 weeks

Level 2: 1 evening per week for approx 10 weeks or part-time day 2 hours per week for 16 weeks

Level 3: 1 evening per week for 16 weeks
