The plasterer makes artistic decorations in plaster and similar materials inside and outside apartments or other types of buildings. You will work as an employee of an artisan workshop but you can also undertake the activity of freelance and work on the basis of the model chosen or designed by an architect or by the client. That of the plasterer / plasterer is one of the various construction professions: he works in new buildings but also in houses to be restored or transformed both inside and outside. The main activities are plastering and smoothing work with preparation of the substrate, squaring and decoration and assembly of gypsum products. The plasterers / plasterers perform other tasks: they build partitions with elements of gypsum and other materials, they make internal and external insulation, cornices and different types of grouting in public buildings and in private homes. In the construction industry, plasterers are skilled workers who perform various tasks, such as surface preparation, application of materials and surface finishing. Numerous plastering jobs are available around the world, although in most areas plasterers install and finish drywall or drywall. Other works include pool plaster and stucco masonry.
