This course can be utilised to give individuals the basic skills required to carry out plastering tasks.

Assessment is via continuous practical assessment.

Progression onto a more advance plastering programme.

What will I study?

Health and safety awareness
Tool skills
Plastering terminology
Prepare a background surface
Apply a scratch coat of sand and lime mortar
Apply a top coat of sand and lime mortar to plain render external finish

What else can I do?

This course can be done as a stand-along course where individuals already have some basic understanding of plastering, learners would then have the option of progression onto a more advanced plastering programme.
