Course programme
The course is designed to enable plumbing and heating engineers to confirm their competence in the design, installation, service and maintenance of unvented hot water systems.
It also focuses on the understanding of central heating and hot water storage systems design and installation issues as they relate to energy conservation measures as detailed under Part L1 of the Building Regulations.
The applicant must be able to declare that he holds a formal craft qualification e.g. N/SVQ LEVEL 3 IN HEATING ENGINEERING OR PLUMBING
or
Declare that he/she has a number of years' experience in either conventional heating engineering or plumbing.
Evidence must be supplied to support either claim.
