Course programme

Summary

This course will give you the basic knowledge and skills relating to plumbing. The course explores hot and cold water systems, pipes and gutters, plus how to install pipe systems, use materials and fit components. It also includes an introduction to the construction industry and the range of operations involved within it. Alongside the plumbing course you will also study English, Maths and ICT.
The course will prepare you for employment and once you are in a job within a relevant sector of the plumbing and heating industry you may continue to study part time.

Progression On successful completion of this course with a good attendance and behaviour record and reference from the course leader students can progress onto the level 3 diploma in Plumbing.
