What will I learn?

You will learn: the structure of the construction industry; safe working practices; environmental and sustainability measures in domestic dwellings; site preparation for working in the construction industry; above-ground drainage; copper pipework; plastic pressure pipework; low carbon steel pipework; installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems; and plumbing science

How will I be assessed?

Students will be assessed by a mixture of practical activities, written assignments and multiple-choice examinations

What may it lead to?

You can progress into the plumbing industry or onto a Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Studies

Entry Requirements

You should have 4 GCSEs at D (including English and Maths) or a Level 1 qualification Entry on the course is subject to an interview
